This is not a toy
These aircraft are not toys and are not intended for anyone under 18 without direct adult supervision.
A 5-inch quad turns propellers fast enough to cause serious injury. Treat every powered airframe as live and keep it away from children, pets and bystanders.
You are the pilot in command
By buying from us you accept that you are responsible for how the aircraft is flown and for everything that follows from it.
We cover manufacturing defects under the warranty. We cannot cover accidents, damage, loss or injury resulting from how an aircraft is assembled, modified, maintained or flown, or from weather and circumstances outside anyone's control.
Know the rules where you fly
In the United States, recreational flyers must pass TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test), register aircraft over 250g with the FAA, and comply with Remote ID. Most of what we sell is over 250g.
Don't fly near airports, over people or moving vehicles, beyond visual line of sight, above 400 feet, or in controlled airspace without authorisation.
Local and state rules can be stricter than federal ones. Checking them is your responsibility, not ours.
Before every flight
Check propellers for nicks and cracks, and check that motors are tight and spin freely.
Check that every solder joint on the power system is sound before you plug in a pack. A dry joint on a 6S build is a fire.
Confirm failsafe, arming and your flight modes on the bench, props off, before you fly.
Keep propellers off while changing radio settings or flashing firmware.
Stop the motors before disconnecting power.
LiPo batteries
Never charge a battery unattended, and charge on a non-flammable surface away from anything that can catch.
Never charge or fly a pack that is puffed, punctured, dented or has been in a crash. A damaged cell can ignite with no warning, sometimes hours later.
Store packs at around 3.85V per cell, somewhere dry and ventilated, out of direct sun and not inside a vehicle.
Land on the first low-voltage warning. Flying a pack flat damages it and is a common cause of a fire days later.
Modifications and repairs
Modifying the power system, flashing non-standard firmware or repairing the aircraft yourself is your call to make, and it voids the warranty on anything it touches.
If you'd rather we did the work, send a service request — that's the shop's day job.
Nothing here limits the warranty on a manufacturing defect — see the warranty & returns policy. If you want work done rather than doing it yourself, start a service request.
